Lisa Deppey, MissionSquare Retirement

Lisa Deppey is a relationship manager for MissionSquare Retirement, and is responsible for the overall business relationship and retention of an assigned group of MissionSquare’s largest clients. She delivers proactive account management to clients, and provides understanding of their goals and objectives, and is the primary liaison between clients and MissionSquare. Her roles include creating and implementing customized education programs, updating plan sponsors on the legislative front, reviewing plan performance, ensuring client awareness of MissionSquare’s service capabilities, proposing new business solutions and assisting plan sponsors in managing plan risks and fiduciary responsibilities.

Ms. Deppey has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry and joined ICMA-RC in 2000. Prior to being promoted to a Relationship Manager, she was a Retirement Plan specialist, educating employees on all aspects of retirement plans.

Ms. Deppey received a bachelor’s degree in Business from Regis University.  She is Registered Representative, and also holds an insurance license for the State of Colorado, and Series 6, 7 and 63. Additionally, she holds the designations of CRC (Certified Retirement Counselor) and BFA (Behavioral Financial Advisor).



Christine Hudek, Innovest Portfolio Solutions, LLC

Christine Hudek is the Senior Marketing Manager at Innovest Portfolio Solutions. Her primary responsibility is to provide support to both business development and marketing. Her other responsibilities include writing proposals, creating presentations, and managing Request for Proposal work flow on the marketing team. Christine is a member of the Innovest Mentoring Committee, and was also selected to be an Innovest Culture Leader.

Christine holds an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) designation. She graduated summa cum laude from Colorado State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing. In addition, she graduated top of her class in pastry from the Culinary School of the Rockies and worked as a pastry chef at Frasca Food & Wine and The Kitchen. Christine is also a certified yoga instructor.


Mimi Hodak, Corebridge Retirement Services

Mimi Hodac brings over 20 years of experience in the retirement industry, with a proven record of managing client relationships at all levels. Before joining Corebridge Retirement Services, Mimi served as a Senior Relationship Manager at Lincoln Financial Group and Prudential Retirement Services. She also held the position of Assistant Vice President at Union of California’s Select Benefit Division.  Known for her strategic mindset, relationship-building expertise, and commitment to client success, Mimi is dedicated to enhancing the consultant experience at Corebridge. Her efforts are focused on expanding partnerships and identifying new opportunities with adviser and consulting firms throughout the Western region. In her role, Mimi oversees the full scope of relationship management, ensuring a high-quality experience for advisers and consulting partners alike.

Mimi holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Phoenix and maintains FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses. She is based in Granada Hills, California.

Vincent A. Ortega, Capital Group

Vincent A. Ortega is a client relationship manager at Capital Group. He has 31 years of investment industry experience, all with Capital Group. Earlier in his career at Capital, he was an accountant, a contracts/account administrator, and a marketing associate.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis on finance from California State University, San Bernardino. Vince is based in Los Angeles.

John Chavez, Nationwide

John leads consultant relations for Nationwide Retirement Solutions in the West region. He is focused on developing and growing partnerships with consultants, advisors, and institutional partners.

Prior to joining Nationwide, John spent four years as a consultant with Multnomah Group, a retirement plan consulting firm based in Portland Oregon. Prior to his time at Multnomah Group, he was the Director of Consultant Relations at TIAA-CREF, Vice President of Business Development at Prudential Retirement and Assistant Vice President of Client Services for Scudder Kemper Retirement Plan Services.

John is involved in the Orange County and Portland Chapters of the Western Pension Benefits Council. He is a member of the National Association of Governmental Defined Contribution Administrators (NAGDCA) and the Colorado Public Plan Coalition (CPPC).



Kyli Soto, Innovest Portfolio Solutions, LLC

Kyli is a Principal and Consultant at Innovest Portfolio Solutions. At Innovest, Kyli provides consulting services to committees and boards of retirement plans. She also manages the relationships between service providers and plan sponsors and provides ongoing vendor management for Innovest’s clients. Kyli is a member of the Retirement Plan Practice Group, a specialized team that identifies best practices and implements process improvements to better serve our retirement plan clients.

Kyli helps manage these processes and assists in Innovest’s retirement plan efforts, working with the analyst team that supports the Retirement Plan Practice Group.  In addition to serving her clients, Kyli’s responsibilities also include assisting with recordkeeper and service provider searches and reviewing client performance reports. Kyli is also a member of the NexGen Society. Members of the NexGen Society are dedicated to leadership and instilling the Innovest culture into future generations. The elite NexGen members are selected by Innovest’s executive team and receive specialized training and responsibilities. Previously, Kyli worked on the marketing team at Innovest, helping write proposals, create presentations, and assist with business development efforts.

Kyli graduated with distinction from Yale University with a Bachelor of Arts in both Economics as well as Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations with a concentration on the Ancient Near East. While at Yale, Kyli played NCAA Division 1 women’s softball, where she was named All-Ivy League Honorable Mention. Kyli holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) designation, the Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA®), and the Series 65 License (Registered Investment Adviser Representative) through FINRA.

Marissa Solomon, Fidelity Investments

Marissa Solomon is a senior vice president of business development within the Asset Management Solutions division at Fidelity Investments.  Fidelity is a leading provider of investment management, retirement planning, portfolio guidance, brokerage, benefits outsourcing, and other financial products and services to institutions, financial intermediaries, and individuals.  The Fidelity Asset Management Solutions division is an integrated investment, distribution, and client service organization dedicated to meeting the unique needs of the institutional marketplace.

In this role, Ms. Solomon is responsible for new business development and relationship management activities, primarily focused on corporate and public plans sponsors in the mid- market. She primarily works with defined benefit and other institutional investors on various initiatives, such as managing pension risk, liability driven investing, and multi-asset class portfolios.

Ms. Solomon earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in economics and mathematics from Hamilton College and a Master of Business Administration from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College. She holds Series 7 and 63 licenses.
